Are Transom Scaffolding insured?
Yes, we hold a $20 million public liability policy. We are happy to provide our Certificate of Currency upon request.
Can we hire scaffolding from Transom?
No, Transom is a full-service scaffolding provider. We employ our own workforce and own our equipment. We supply, deliver, install, dismantle and remove from site.
Does Transom Scaffolding do residential or commercial scaffolding?
We can assist you with residential, commercial and also high rise scaffolding.
We are looking for a budget scaffolding provider, can you help us?
We certainly can but we prefer to consider ourselves ‘competitively priced’. Be very wary of engaging a ‘budget’ service for anything that is so critical to safety.
How can you quote lower than other Sydney scaffolding companies?
Because we own our own equipment and we don’t hire subcontractors, we can keep our costs down and pass on the savings to our customers.
Are you licensed?
We certainly are. Our license number is [insert details].
How far out of Sydney metropolitan area do you service?
Transom provides scaffolding services within a 100km radius of the Sydney CBD.
We are Owner Builders, can we organise scaffolding through you?
Yes, we have many clients who are building or renovating their own property or an investment property. We would be glad to assist.
What if our builder prefers to use his own scaffolding company?
This is a matter for you to discuss with your builder. We are always pleased to have an opportunity to be introduced to a builder we haven’t worked with before.
Will you need to conduct a site inspection in order to quote?
We usually prefer to inspect the site however we also base our quotes on architects’ and/or engineers’ drawings.
We are building on a difficult block of land. Will that affect your quote?
We have worked on a number of challenging projects. Steeply sloping blocks, narrow blocks, difficult access and other elements can add more to the final quote however our pricing is already very competitive so you may be surprised at the cost.
Can you supply us with Safe Work Method Statements?
Will you provide a Handover Certificate upon completion?
Yes, we can definitely do that.
We’re not really sure if we need scaffolding. Can you advise us on this?
We would be happy to discuss your project and we may visit your site to determine the necessity. Transom Scaffolding diligently follow all NSW OH&S regulations and strictly adhere to laws that are in place to keep people safe.
Will we have to organise delivery and removal of our scaffolding?
No, Transom Scaffolding will do everything for you. We start with a consultation and from that, we will devise the most appropriate scaffolding solution for your site and your build or renovation. We supply, deliver, install, dismantle and remove all equipment, leaving behind a tidy work environment.
What if you don’t have all the equipment required for our job?
That is not a problem. We have a comprehensive inventory of scaffolding equipment for all manner of jobs.
If we need scaffolding for a small painting job, can you supply this?
As the saying goes, “no job is too small”. We will be pleased to supply and install scaffolding to keep your painters safe and to make their job easier and quicker and therefore less costly for you.
